About this tender
Overview The Department of Industry, Science and Resources has a requirement for a comprehensive company supply chain dataset to support analysis of global supply chains. Purpose The data will be integrated into the Department's supply chain mapping platform to help support evidence-based advice to Government. Scope The scope includes: Provision of a company supply chain dataset sourced primarily from the public domain, detailing customer-supplier linkages between businesses Supplier-customer relationship intelligence derived from corporate disclosures, regulatory filings, public statements, annual reports and similar sources, rather than datasets that infer relationships exclusively from trade or logistics activity Global coverage across industries and regions Reflection of current supply chain relationships, with the dataset regularly maintained Additional Favourable Capabilities The following capabilities will be viewed favourably but are not mandatory: A comprehensive business facilities dataset containing business location information, including physical addresses, latitude and longitude coordinates, and facility type classifications including but not limited to offices, warehouses, distribution centres and manufacturing facilities Contractor Requirements Delivery Requirements Data must be provided in a format suitable for integration into the Department's analytical environment and third-party supply chain mapping platform Acceptable delivery methods include SFTP, API, cloud-based delivery, desktop delivery or other enterprise data delivery mechanisms supported by the supplier Preferred update frequency is monthly or quarterly Third-Party Platform Requirements The supplier must permit the data to be integrated into systems operated on behalf of the Department by an authorised service provider Suppliers should clearly identify any licensing restrictions, approved use cases, user limitations or requirements associated with third-party platform integration Instructions to Tenderers Tender responses will be assessed against the evaluation criteria outlined at section A.B.5 of the Approach to Market. Criteria A and B carry equal weighting (50 per cent each) and will be considered together with Criterion C as part of the overall value for money assessment.
