About this tender

Overview Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council is seeking quotations for the supply of 1 x Tipper Truck, in accordance with the specifications set out below. Scope The scope includes supply of a tipper truck meeting the following specifications: 10m3 high tensile steel (Bisaloy) tipping body, painted white, with floor, fixed sides, front and tailgate at 5mm thick Tipping body to be ribless Fixed side height of approximately 1150mm high Dual swing tailgate with side swing opening to kerb side Air operated tailgate release with 4 locking lugs, and a manual lock handle on the RHS of the tipper with a safety lock ring Heavy duty spreader chains to control the tailgate under tipping conditions Rope rails running full length on both sides and the tailgate One shovel rack fitted to the headboard on the tipper Fold down ladder and access steps with 3 points of contact positioned on both sides of the tipper body to allow access without interference from the tarp Tipper safety prop capable of holding the body independent of hydraulics, able to be put in place by 1 person without that person going in between the truck chassis and tipper body Rear marker signs complying with Transport for NSW requirements Body constructed and fitted to distribute the load legally over each axle, with tray length and width to be specified by the respondent Retractable tarp system, electronically operated from inside the cabin, with remote to include a dock to store within the cabin if supplied, and the tarp system to be of good quality with replacement parts easily accessible from the supplier 25 tonne hydraulic hoist designed to give a 48 degree tipping angle when fully raised, fully protected from load material, with inspection holes at the front for the top pin, and greaseable from ground level Minimum 50mm rear pivot bar with 4 x 80mm mounting bushes on the body and 2 x 80mm bushes on the sub frame, all greaseable Hydraulic oil tank to be metal with capacity to suit operational requirements, fitted with a ball valve tap at the bottom to allow easy draining, anti burst valves on all hydraulic hoses, clear labelling, an oil level gauge, and a filler cap positioned opposite the tank feeder with a baffle to prevent overflow from the filler cap PTO to be directly mounted to the transmission Tipper hoist control for truck and trailer positioned to be easily accessible from the driving position and clearly labelled with operating instructions
