About this tender
Overview Transport Asset Manager (TAM), on behalf of Transport for NSW, is seeking an experienced operator to design, deliver and operate an immersive visitor experience within Sydney's historic St James Tunnels. Objectives The key objectives are to: Deliver high quality tourism activities that provide an outstanding experience to visitors Ensure that visitors benefit from an immersive experience of sounds and images Explore options for innovation and operational improvements which may increase the attractiveness of NSW as a tourism destination Ensure the safety of tourism activities for visitors, staff and members of the public utilising the rail network and St James Station Ensure ongoing security of the St James Tunnels and appropriate availability for repairs, maintenance, capital projects and special events Minimise disruption to rail operations Create new value and drive growth through commercial and proactive management of the St James Tunnels Maximise the economic benefit to the State of NSW by ensuring tourism activities promote Sydney, NSW and Australia as a tourism and business destination Scope The respondent will design, deliver and operate an immersive visitor experience within the historic St James Tunnels in Sydney CBD. The scope includes: Tour development and delivery Visitor operations Ticketing Marketing and promotion Customer experience management Capital works, as required Development of ancillary products Ongoing growth of the attraction The operator will be responsible for delivering a safe, high-quality and commercially sustainable visitor experience that celebrates the heritage significance of the site and enhances Sydney's tourism offering.
