ABOUT THE COUNCIL: Stretching from Palm Beach to Manly, the Northern Beaches boasts more than half of all the beaches in Sydney and a population of more than 266,000. Northern Beaches Council is working closely with the community to build strategies that enhance our quality of life, promote sustainable development and protect our environment. SERVICE REQUIRED: Northern Beaches Council (Council) invites tenders for the carrying out and completion of major works for the refurbishment works to the Boondah Reserve Sports Amenities building. The project will involve the refurbishment of a 150 sqm (approx.) sports amenities building, hosting toilet and shower facilities including ambulant and accessible requirements, changeroom, canteen and storage facilities. The works include but are not limited to: Demolition of toilet finishes and fixtures Demolition of select existing roof structure and sheeting, Demolition of existing storge shed, steel enclosure, select masonry walls New public toilet fit out New roof structure, sheeting and roof plumbing to selections of building New storage sheds with roller door New paint finish to masonry walls New balustrade, handrails and tactiles to existing ramp Conversion of existing storeroom to change room Conversion of existing eastern undercover space to create new main storeroom Refurbishment of canteen with relocated servery window Relocation of the main switchboard Supply and install of new hot water pumps Supply and install of new MSB Evaluation Criteria Submission of all schedules is mandatory.
