Vacuum Excavation & Pipeline Location Services

Overview Tamworth Regional Council is seeking a contractor to provide pipeline location and vacuum excavation services in the Tamworth region for its water and sewerage assets. Scope The scope includes: Provision of pipeline location services to assist Tamworth Regional Council personnel operate and maintain its water and sewerage pipeline assets Provision of vacuum excavation services to assist Tamworth Regional Council personnel operate and maintain its water and sewerage pipeline assets Vacuum excavation services typically requiring a minimum of 150mm suction hose and greater than 2500L of truck based storage Onsite response within 1 hour of a service request for Tamworth City locations Onsite response within 2 hours of a service request for Nundle, Manilla, Barraba, Bendemeer and other regional areas within Tamworth Regional Council 24 hour per day response availability 365 days per year availability, which is highly desirable Delivery of all works under the direct supervision of the Principal's personnel Contract Terms and Conditions Panel contract for 2 years with an option to extend for 2 x additional 1 year periods Minimum duration of 2 hours and maximum duration of 10 hours per Work Package Each item of Work will be identified as a separate Work Package, for either pipeline location services or vacuum excavation services A Work Package will be provided to a Contractor by the Principal, who will confirm their availability to provide the requested services The Principal will confirm with a Contractor that they wish to proceed with a specific Work Package A Work Package will only commence once formal notification is provided by the Principal; this notification may be verbal but must be confirmed in writing within 48 hours of the Principal's verbal approval of a specific Work Package
