About this tender
Overview The Department of Mining and Energy (NT) is seeking a suitably qualified technical and electrical engineering consultant to provide specialist advisory services supporting the Remote Power Partnership Program (RPPP). Purpose The RPPP proposal is for the staged transition of electricity supply in remote Aboriginal communities that are currently reliant on diesel-based generation to hybrid energy solutions. Scope The scope includes: Provision of independent technical advice relating to renewable energy generation Provision of independent technical advice relating to battery energy storage systems Provision of independent technical advice relating to integration with existing power infrastructure Advisory services provided on an as-needed basis to support planning, development and early delivery activities across multiple remote locations Contractor Requirements Suitably qualified technical and electrical engineering consultant
