Litchfield Council invites suitably qualified and experienced contractors to submit tenders for the design, manufacture, supply, delivery and installation of a new demountable site office at the Humpty Doo Waste Transfer Station. The project includes the complete design and cyclone certification of the building, obtaining all required approvals and permits, manufacture, transportation, installation, internal fit-out, electrical and plumbing services, site preparation works, stormwater management, commissioning, and provision of all compliance documentation and occupancy approvals. The new site office will complement the existing gatehouse facilities and support the growing operational requirements of the Humpty Doo Waste Transfer Station. Tenderers are required to provide a turnkey solution and undertake the works while maintaining the safe and continuous operation of the transfer station and existing gatehouse facilities. Mandatory Site Briefing Date: Tuesday, 17 June 2026 Time: 12:00 noon Location: Humpty Doo Waste Transfer Station — Gatehouse
A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.
Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.
Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
