Overview The Department of Lands, Planning and Environment (the Department) is seeking to engage an independent chair for the Daly River Water Advisory Committee (the Committee) for a period of 24 months. Purpose The chair will ensure Committee members are properly informed and supported to participate in water management and to effectively perform their roles and responsibilities. The Role Chairing the Daly River Water Advisory Committee Ensuring Committee members are properly informed and supported to participate in water management Supporting Committee members to effectively perform their roles and responsibilities Contract Terms and Conditions Initial contract term of 24 months, with a 1 x 12-month extension option As the remaining term of the Committee is less than 36 months (from the date of acceptance through to November 2028), the extension option will be utilised in accordance with the Committee's remaining term
