Supply all supervision, labour, materials, plant & equipment to execute and complete the Retractable Seating Package in accordance with the contract, specification and drawings and in accordance with the builder’s construction program. The subcontractor works include, but are not limited to the following works: The design, supply, delivery, installation, commissioning and certification of the electrically power operated retractable seating for 200 people to the Multipurpose Hall including associated pre-finished steel supporting structure and associated deck board & trims, row-to-row dampening, row locking, steel alignment guides, electric control with manual override for the power operation, required power drives, two sets of 7 polyurethane wheels per base, two access aisles, self storing handrails to the left and right outer sides of the unit, heavy duty carpet finish to decks, dual LED assess aisle lighting with battery backup, glow strip nosings, side curtains, aisle steps and two sections of flex row, one each to the far sides of the front row of the unit to allow for 4 no. wheelchair spaces; The installed system is to conform but is not limited to the following standards: BSENH 13200 – 5:2006 Spectator Facilities – Telescopic Stands; AS NZS 1170.1:2001 Structural Design Actions; AS 4100:1998 – Steel Structures; AS/NZS 4600:2005 Cold Formed Steel Structures and AS 1720.1:2010 – Timber Structures;Chairs to be crest non-upholstered, with fold down back – seating to be tested and certified against BS 5852:2000 & SN EN 12727:2000; The entire unit including handrails & commercial grade side curtains is to be ‘Black’ in colour, including all steel components including handrails, beams, support frame and the like which will be powered coated ‘Black’. The only exception to this will be the carpet finish, which is to be ‘Charcoal and the associated aluminium grip edging, nosing and glow strips to aisle steps’; The Subcontractor is to provide regular updates to the Builder as to progress of the design and manufacture of the retractable seating and allow the Builder and /or its clients access to view the retractable seating being manufactured, within 48 hours of receiving written notice from the Builder; The Subcontractor is to liaise with the Builder and it consultants as required, during the design, manufacture and installation phases of the contract; The Subcontractor is to liaise closely with the Builder regarding the delivery date of the retractable seating and required site access for all necessary transport and plant to move the retractable seating into its final location within the Multipurpose Hall; The Subcontractor is to coordinate and interface their works with the Electrical Contractor and all other relevant Subcontractors – the retractable seating is to run off single phase power; The Subcontractor is to undertake all necessary electrical works associated with the retractable seating package including tagging and testing in accordance with the relevant Australian Standards including but not limited to AS 3000 and AS/NZS 3760:2010; The Subcontractor is to provide all necessary certification of the installed retractable seating on completion of the works; The Subcontractor is to provide a free maintenance inspection six months from the date of practical completion of the entire project, in addition to any standard defect liability ‘call outs’ during the first 12 months after practical completion of the entire project; The Subcontract is to provide 5 year warranty on the telescopic under structure; The Subcontractor is to provide all necessary training to School Staff on the operation of the retractable seating; The supply and delivery of 5 no. spare seats; The Subcontractor shall provide all equipment and labour required and shall satisfactorily undertake setting out works on and off Site as required for the construction of the Works; The Subcontractor shall, at all times, keeps its work areas in a neat, clean and safe condition including periodic removal and safe disposal of all debris and rubbish; Subcontractor shall be responsible for all QA and QC activities necessary to ensure the Works meet the requirements specified in the Contract. Inspection and Testing shall be implemented in accordance with the requirements of Project Specifications.
