The Subcontractors works comprise of the complete Shade Sail Works including all necessary plant, equipment, materials, labour and the like to ensure the safe delivery, unloading, transportation across site, setting out, foundation (pier) excavation and spoil removal, foundation (pier) reinforcement, concrete works, shade sail structure manufacture, delivery & erection, offsite & onsite welding, shade sail fabric supply and installation but also not limited to the following: Section 40 Certificate of Compliance for the Design of Shade Sail Structures has been undertaken and has been provided by the Builder for use and reference by the shade sail contractor. The Subcontractor is to allow for site mobilisation, site inductions and demobilisation on completion of the shade sail works. Provide all samples, as specified and as requested by the Builder. Allow for all necessary permits and fees associated with the shade sail works. Provide all shade sail care & maintenance documentation and associated ‘as built’ drawings, Section 40 certificate of compliance for construction, warranties and other certifications associated with the shade sail works, in accordance with the specification, prior to practical completion of the shade sail works. Allow to provide all plant, labour and materials associated with temporary works associated with the shade sail package. Coordinate the shade sail works with all services contractors, playground equipment, softfall and artificial turf contractors, structural steel erectors (walkways), fencing, concrete contractors (paths & kerbing) and the like. Ensure that the location of all below ground services are known prior to undertaking any excavation works. Liaise with the Builder and project services subcontractors regarding the location of installed and future below ground services for the project. The shade sail contractor will be responsible for keeping all their working areas clean and tidy plus free of rubbish during and on completion of the shade sail works. The shade sail contractor will be responsible for the excavation of all pier foundations for the shade sail structures and the removal of all spoil removal from site.
