About this tender
The subcontractors works include the supply of all necessary plant, equipment, labour and the like for the supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of the Swimming Pool, including but not limited to the following: Check all existing underground services prior to undertaking any excavation works; Undertake survey setout of pool area; Detailed excavation of the pool to the require depth and levels; The Subcontractor shall be deemed to have allowed for the cost of performing the required excavations in whatever material may be encountered, and no extra payment shall be paid for excavation in rock. A copy of the site geotechnical report has been provided for the subcontractor’s information; Removal of all excavated soil from site in accordance with local regulatory guidelines; Dewatering of the excavated area; Allow for all temporary works associated with the swimming pool and any associated certification of these temporary works; In the event that any suspected asbestos material is located during excavation works, all works must cease immediately and the Site Manager notified as quickly as possible; Subgrade preparation, supply, place and finish to required depth and level; Allow to proof roll the subgrade, as documented; Supply and installation of all reinforcement, as detailed; Allow for equipotential bonding of pool reinforcement; Supply and installation of all necessary formwork for the concrete works; Supply, pump, place / spray and finish all concrete, as specified; Supply and install all necessary joint sealants, as detailed; Supply and installation of all necessary hydraulic, mechanical and electrical services associated with the swimming pool including all associated cabling, wiring, pipework and associated drainage, heat pump and exhausts, circulation pumps, acid dosing pumps, filtration pumps, filters, controllers, chlorinators, backwash holding tank, acid storage tank plus enclosure; skimmers, drains and water levelers and eyeball fittings, as specified; Make good and waterproof seal all service penetration to the pool; Undertake all connections to existing water supply and storm water drainage, coordinating works with the project Hydraulics contractor; Ensure that all swimming pool electrical works are coordinated with the project Electrical contractor; Allow to earth the pool installation, as required; Supply, delivery and installation of tiled finish to swimming pool floor, walls, steps and copings including all necessary on/offsite cutting of tiles and all grouting; Allow to supply an additional 1% of each of the various specified tiles and copings, to be used as spares by the end user; Supply and installation of all swimming pool fixtures and fittings including stainless steel pool ladders, handrails and grab rails; Undertake all necessary tests and commissioning of the swimming pool and provide copies of all relevant tests and certification including section 40 certification, prior to handover of the swimming pool to DCOH; Allow to provide full training to the end user in the operation and maintenance of the swimming pool; Provide all necessary warranties for the pool structure, finishes and plant & equipment, all to commence for the date of practical completion of the entire project. Specific Exclusions: Supply and installation of concrete concourse surrounding the pool; Supply and installation of the swimming pool fence;
