About this tender
Overview SunCable Holdings Pty Ltd is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to provide waste management services for the construction and delivery of a large scale solar farm project located in the Barkly region of the Northern Territory. About The project will be delivered in multiple construction phases over several years and will involve a progressively expanding workforce, construction compounds, accommodation facilities, logistics hubs and associated infrastructure. Waste management requirements are expected to evolve throughout the project lifecycle, requiring solutions that are scalable, flexible and capable of responding to changing operational demands. Subject to project approvals and final delivery schedules, construction mobilisation is anticipated to commence in stages, with waste management services required from early site establishment through to project completion and commissioning. Purpose SunCable is committed to sustainable waste management and aims to implement these practices across all project activities. Consistent with the waste hierarchy principles of avoid, reduce, reuse, recycle, recover and dispose, the project seeks to minimise waste generation and divert waste from landfill wherever practicable. Scope The scope includes: Provision of waste management services for the construction and delivery of the solar farm project Delivery of waste management services from early site establishment through to project completion and commissioning Support for both initial mobilisation activities and long-term operational requirements across multiple construction phases Contractor Requirements Demonstrated ability to support both initial mobilisation activities and long-term operational requirements Ability to work collaboratively with SunCable and its delivery partners to identify opportunities for waste reduction, material recovery, recycling and beneficial reuse Capacity to provide safe, compliant and efficient waste management services that meet all applicable Northern Territory and Commonwealth regulatory requirements Support for SunCable's environmental, social and governance commitments Eligibility SunCable is committed to maximising local participation and delivering lasting benefits to communities in the Barkly region and across the Northern Territory. Expressions of Interest are sought from Northern Territory-based businesses and Indigenous-owned enterprises.
