About this tender
Overview Ara Poutama Aotearoa, the Department of Corrections (Corrections), is seeking responses to a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Alcohol and Other Drug Testing (AODT) Services in the community. Scope The scope includes: Delivery of Alcohol and Other Drug Testing services in the community to the AS/NZS standard Service delivery for people under Corrections management, not Corrections staff Nationwide delivery of the service Contract Terms and Conditions This is a national contract for a term of three years, with a right of renewal of two years (3 + 2) The draft contract will not be released immediately but will be uploaded in due course The contract will be based on a GMC Services form but will include some Departures, including changes required to fulfil obligations under the Privacy Act Insurance The Supplier must have the following minimum levels of insurance, taken out with a reputable insurer (being an insurer who, from the Start Date to the End Date, maintains a rating of A+ or more as determined by Standard and Poor's): Public liability insurance of $1,000,000 for any one event Professional indemnity insurance of $1,000,000 for any one claim and $8,000,000 in the aggregate for all claims in the insurance policy period Statutory liability insurance of $1,000,000 for any one claim and in the aggregate for all claims Third party motor vehicle insurance of $10,000,000 for any one accident Liability Each Party's liability to the other Party (whether in contract, tort including negligence, or otherwise) under or in connection with the Contract: Will not exceed, for the Buyer, $100,000 Will not exceed, for the Supplier, $1,000,000 in the annual aggregate Tender Briefing A Provider Briefing session will be held for this opportunity.
