Overview Clutha District Council is undertaking a Three Waters renewals programme covering water, stormwater and sewer infrastructure works at Charlotte Street, Renfrew Street and Owaka. Scope The scope includes: Charlotte Street Water Main Renewal: Replacement of approximately 288 metres of ageing water main that is no longer fit for purpose, to improve network reliability, reduce the risk of failures and outages, and provide a more resilient water supply for the community Renfrew Street Stormwater Main Extension: Installation of approximately 187 m of new DN300 stormwater main along Renfrew Street, from the John Street intersection to approximately 20 Renfrew Street, to improve drainage capacity and reduce flooding risk Owaka Sewer Network Renewal: Renewal of an existing wastewater pipeline within the Owaka Sports Grounds and along Cargill Street, including installation of a new sewer main, manholes, and reconnection of existing sewer services, to improve network reliability and address known defects
