Overview Fire and Emergency New Zealand is seeking to engage a construction supplier to carry out works at the Bethells Valley Fire Station. Purpose The works are intended to address inadequate functional capacity, insufficient amenities, and inefficient operational workflow at the fire station, in relation to health and safety, decontamination, and accessibility. Scope The scope includes: Carrying out construction works at the Bethells Valley Fire Station Liaising with the Fire and Emergency New Zealand Project Manager and brigade leadership team to formulate and maintain a mutually agreeable project plan Delivering the works in a manner that minimises disturbance to brigade operations, with the fire station remaining operational for the duration of the project works Based on the scope of this project, this could be achieved by the fire appliances being parked outside each day and brought back in.
