Overview Clutha District Council is undertaking an Expression of Interest process associated with the long-term future of the Mt Cooee waste management facility, covering the proposed landfill extension and transfer station upgrade. About Council is currently undertaking further business case, procurement and design development activities associated with the long-term future of the Mt Cooee waste management facility. Scope The proposed programme includes: Development of a new landfill cell Closure and capping of the existing landfill cell Installation of a landfill gas collection system Upgrades to the existing transfer station infrastructure The final scope, procurement model and design arrangements are still being developed.
