High Stage Rating Curve Modelling

Overview Environment Canterbury Regional Council (NZ) is seeking a modelling approach to defining rating curves for flows higher than those currently gauged. The council is open to innovative solutions that improve upon its traditional approach of rating curve extrapolation. Purpose Having rating curves that accurately convert recorded water level data to flow is critical to all aspects of flood hazard management work at Environment Canterbury.
