Overview The Board of Trustees for Patea Area School, on behalf of the Ministry of Education (NZ), is seeking a suitably qualified Main Building Contractor to carry out the LSM Bathroom Modifications Works at Patea Area School. Scope The scope includes: Remodelling and installation of a new LSM Universal Bathroom to provide a fully accessible and functional bathroom facility Installation of a new shower, toilet, hand basin, and associated bathroom fittings and fixtures Minor alterations and making good to the surrounding areas of the existing building to accommodate the new bathroom layout and services Minor asbestos removal where identified, with all removal and reinstatement works undertaken in accordance with relevant requirements and standards Tender Briefing and Site Inspection Contractors must visit the site for the tender to be compliant. Contact the School Office to arrange a site visit. Refer to the invite letter attached. Contract Terms and Conditions Dependent on Ministry of Education funding approval, this work would start as soon as possible after confirmation is provided, however this will be discussed with the successful contractor and school once funding approvals are confirmed.
