Overview The Board of Trustees for Carlton School, Whanganui, is seeking a suitably qualified Main Fencing/Building Contractor to carry out fencing and gate works at the school. Scope The scope includes: Installation of new 1.8m high aluminium and timber fencing and gates to the school boundary and carpark areas to address identified health and safety concerns Design and installation of fencing without footholds or horizontal bars, extending to ground level Installation of gates including safety latches, drop bolts, self-closing mechanisms and appropriate signage Site Inspection Contractors must visit the site for their tender to be compliant. Contact the school office to arrange a site visit. Refer to the invite letter for further details. Contract Terms and Conditions Work start timing is dependent on Ministry of Education funding approval. Ideally, work would start as soon as possible after funding confirmation, however this will be discussed with the successful contractor and the school once funding approvals are confirmed.
