Proposed UniRec New Build Project

Overview The University of Waikato is seeking registrations of interest from experienced Design & Build organisations capable of supporting the development and delivery of the proposed UniRec New Build Project. The University currently estimates the value of the proposed project to be in the order of NZD $30 million to $35 million excluding GST. This estimate is indicative only and remains subject to further refinement through the Competitive Dialogue process and future project approvals. Purpose The project relates to the potential development of a new purpose-built indoor sport and recreation facility to support student wellbeing, recreation, sport, community engagement and long-term campus development objectives.
