Overview Kawerau District Council invites suitably qualified contractors to submit tenders for the renewal of water reticulation infrastructure in Zone 4 and Zone 7 of Kawerau Township. Scope The scope includes: Replacement of reticulation pipework in Zone 4 and Zone 7 of Kawerau Township Installation of new PE pipes of various sizes Construction using directional drilling methodology, with open trench methodology applied where necessary, all in accordance with the Scope of Works Instructions to Tenderers The following tender documents are attached: Invitation to Tender (including tender description, conditions of tender, tender process, form of tender, conditions of contract, and scope of works) Drawing Sets Schedule of Quantities Whakatane Engineering Code of Practice, Chapter 6, Water Supply All tender documentation requested in the tender description must be submitted for an offer to be assessed. Confirmation that a tender will be submitted is required to ensure that all future notices are sent to interested contractors. The deadline for questions is 4:00 PM, Thursday 15 October 2026, and questions should be referred via the Tenderlink Online Forum. Tenders, with all required supporting information, must be submitted by email to tenders@kaweraudc.govt.nz no later than 2:00 PM, Thursday 22 October 2026.
