Overview The Ministry of Education (NZ) is seeking a main building contractor to undertake roof remediation and timber joinery replacement works to Blocks 1, 3, 14 and T1 at Newlands Primary School, Newlands, Wellington. Scope The scope includes: Replacement of degraded metal roofing to Block 1, including replacement of clerestory windows to ensure compliant upstands and clearances Replacement of clear roofing to Block 14 with a trafficable product installed over mesh Fitting of an eave flashing to Block T1 Replacement of timber windows to Blocks 1 and 3 Replacement of any rotten timber cladding encountered during the works Development and implementation of a site management plan to minimise risk to normal school operations while working across the active school site Enquiries All enquiries regarding this tender are to be made through GETs.
