ROI - Main Contractor for Kaipara College - A: Toilet Refurbishment

Overview The Ministry of Education (NZ) is seeking expressions of interest from a main contractor to undertake a toilet refurbishment at Kaipara College. Scope The scope includes: Complete life-cycle replacement of four WCs, two urinals, five basins, two showers, and all tapware Replacement of cubicle partitions, wall linings, and flooring Supply and installation of all new fixtures and fittings Supply and installation of hot water supply and associated plumbing Removal of the two existing showers, which contain asbestos in their linings Conversion of the former shower areas into additional WCs to accommodate Music and Drama students, who currently use toilets shared with visitors Obtaining Building Consent for the conversion of the showers into new WCs Upgrade of the fire protection systems in the Block, triggered by the Building Consent requirement
