Overview Nelson City Council is seeking an experienced civil/sports-turf contractor to reconstruct the international Saxton Cricket Oval at Saxton Fields, Nelson. Scope The scope includes: Removal of the existing turf surface Subgrade shaping Primary and lateral drainage Installation and commissioning of a new irrigation system Slit drainage Sand carpet installation Seedbed preparation and sowing Turfgrass grow-in and establishment Coordination of the works as an integrated construction programme and delivery of a completed, functional and high-quality sports-field surface in accordance with the technical specifications, drawings, hold points, testing, commissioning and handover requirements Enquiries Claire McLean, Project Manager, Nelson City Council
