Overview The Ministry of Education (NZ) is seeking a main contractor to carry out contract works at Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Nga Uri A Maui (the School), comprising ILE improvements to Blocks H and I, plumbing and drainage works to Block C, and an electrical RCBO upgrade across Blocks C, E, H, I, and J. The scale of the works is medium. Scope The scope includes: Block H: Replacement of the glass bi-fold doors with a more functional door that is easier to open and close on a daily basis Block H: Development of an outdoor learning area adjacent to the classrooms with better connection from inside to outside Block I: Replacement of the electrical window openers with manual openers Site: Install cages to heat pump condenser units wherever these are accessible to pupils Site: Install new stormwater drainage from Blocks H and C Site: Install RCBOs to 6 no. DBs and carry out minor electrical repairs Contract Terms and Conditions Pricing should be split into six separable portions corresponding to the works items listed above, with preliminaries and general (P&G) and margin pro rataed, as the school cannot make all areas available at one time Phasing and/or staged handover of the project will be negotiated with the School The Contractor will be engaged through a Medium Works Contract No Contract related tags will be considered The Principal prefers there to be no drawings and specification related tags
