Overview The Ministry of Education (NZ) is seeking a main contractor for the Te Takarangi School (the School) 1, 5, E, C Combined Works Project, covering internal and external replacements. Scope The scope includes: Refurbishment of Block 1, including window joinery replacement, internal linings, cabinetry and floor coverings, and cladding, roof and gutter repairs Refurbishment of Block 5, including window joinery replacement, internal linings, cabinetry and floor coverings, and cladding, roof and gutter repairs Gutter replacement at Block E Demolition of the Block C garages Construction of a contractor-designed replacement garage Contract Terms and Conditions The Contract Works will be delivered in one stage, wholly within the school holiday period of the December 2026/January 2027 Christmas holidays Additional rights for other projects of a lower value are included in this tender Instructions to Tenderers This RFT is for a main contractor only. Tenders for separate portions of the works will not be considered in any instance.
