Overview Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking to establish a national panel of suppliers to provide contingent clinical workforce services across Medical Officers (Locums), Allied Health, and Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare Assistants. About Health NZ relies on contingent workforce providers to support workforce shortages, maintain continuity of patient care and ensure clinical services can continue to operate effectively across New Zealand. The current arrangements are due to expire in February 2027 and Health NZ is undertaking an open competitive procurement process to establish a new national panel. Purpose The objective of this procurement is to create a more consistent, transparent and nationally coordinated approach to sourcing contingent clinical personnel.
