What the buyer is requesting Details Etheridge Shire Council invites tenders from suitably qualified tenderers for the construction of DRFA restoration works on the below listed roads. Separable Portion 1: Gravel Stockpiling for all works Stockpiling Milestone date no later than 30th September 2026 Separable Portion 2: All works on the following roads: a. Carnes Road b. Langolovale Road c. Little River Road d. Littleton Road e. Mount Little Road f. Paddys Road g. Torrlinger Road The individual roads listed above will be individual milestones listed in the Contract. Tenderers are to note this contract is indirectly funded by the Commonwealth for the purposes of any applicable schemes/policies which are value driven. Contract award date: 15th June 2026 Date for practical completion will be confirmed post tender and will give consideration to the successful tenderer’s program, but will be no later than 30th September 2026 for Separable Portion 1 and 30th November 2026 for Separable Portion 2. Can you please advise suitable water sources for each package. Thanks Answered on 22/May/2026 04:38 PM : GDA2020/MGA Zone54 The Contractor shall nominate their proposed water sources in their Site Based Management Plan which may include a combination of rivers, borrow pits, and private bores/turkey nests. Where a river is to be used, the Contractor shall comply with the requirements of OSW/2020/5467 Exemption requirements for constructing authorities for the take of water without a water entitlement and submit all notices required. Where a private bore is proposed to be used, the Contractor shall provide the Superintendent with a copy of a written water use agreement with each landowner which is to include as a minimum a cost per kilolitre, nominated access points and include other details such as who is providing a pump/generator etc. no less than 15 business days prior to taking the water.
