Overview Queensland Police Service, through QGAir, is seeking offers for the supply of a complete Rescue Crew Officer (RCO) all-purpose mission helmet solution. The Helmet Solution is intended to replace the current issued RCO flight helmet and support the full RCO mission profile, including aircraft cabin operations, helicopter external winching, land, mountain and technical rescue, coastal and water rescue, training, night vision goggle use, action camera use and down-the-wire communications integration. About Queensland Police Service (QPS), through Queensland Government Air (QGAir), requires an all-purpose mission helmet solution for Rescue Crew Officers (RCOs). RCOs perform a range of operational duties including aircraft cabin operations, helicopter external winching, land rescue, mountain and technical rescue, coastal rescue, water rescue and training. QGAir is seeking a single Helmet Solution to replace the current issued Aspida flight helmet and support the full RCO operational profile. Purpose The procurement is intended to provide a safe, reliable and supportable capability that meets current operational requirements while allowing flexibility for future operational needs. Scope The successful Supplier will supply mission helmets and associated equipment for QGAir Rescue Crew Officers (RCOs). The scope of supply is expected to include: 20 complete Helmet Solution sets 12 ANVIS-compatible interface plate adaptors 8 action camera adaptors Reflective markings, where not included as part of the proposed Helmet Solution All mounts, fittings, hardware and accessories necessary to support the proposed Helmet Solution Operating, inspection, maintenance and servicing documentation Supplier briefing and helmet fitting support Train-the-trainer material, or equivalent user guidance Warranty, servicing and support information Recommended spare parts and consumables Delivery to nominated locations Quantities are indicative only and may change. This procurement does not include: Down-the-wire communications equipment Aircraft communications systems or aircraft modifications Disposal or replacement of existing helmets Contractor Requirements QGAir intends to purchase a complete integrated solution from a single Supplier.
