About this tender
Overview Tablelands Regional Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified respondents to enter into an agreement with Council for a community benefitting or community orientated organisation to utilise the spare shed at the Atherton Transfer Station (formerly the recycle shop). Purpose Council would strongly prefer a venture or undertaking that has a net positive benefit to waste streams, such as, but not limited to, recycling or landfill diversion. Information Requested Interested parties will need to detail: Their proposal for the facility How their venture benefits the community Their proposed terms of lease Instructions to Respondents This EOI is an initial market-testing and shortlisting process only. It is not a tender, quotation or offer to enter into an agreement. Subject to Council's requirements and applicable legislative processes, Council may shortlist respondents and invite them to participate in a subsequent written tender process. Council is not obliged to proceed with a tender, select a respondent or enter into an agreement as a result of this EOI.
