Overview Northern Peninsula Area Regional Council is seeking a supplier to design and construct an upgrade of the lighting at the Bamaga Football Oval to Queensland Rugby League Seniors standard (200 Lux). Scope The scope includes: Upgrade of the lighting at Bamaga Football Oval to Queensland Rugby League Seniors standard (200 Lux) Design and construction of the lighting solution, with NPARC willing to evaluate multiple proposed options from each supplier to achieve the 200 Lux standard at the lowest lifecycle cost Replacement of the existing lighting poles, preferably with poles that can be lowered for maintenance Automatic and remote control of the lights, which is desirable Contract Terms and Conditions The lights must be installed prior to the start of the 2027 football season, approximately 1 June 2027 The wet season, from December to April each year, makes travel and construction works difficult and should be factored into scheduling Enquiries Contact: Steve Martin, Manager, Assets and Projects Phone: 0486 318 882 Mobile: 0486 318 882 Email: steve.martin@nparc.qld.gov.au
