Overview CQUniversity Australia (CQU) invites tenders from suitably qualified and registered contractors to undertake construction, refurbishment and fit out works at the CQU Bundaberg campus. The purpose of the project is to construct a purpose built student kitchenette inside the Library (Building 3), located at 6 University Dr, Branyan, QLD. About The new kitchenette will be backing onto an existing kitchenette space, meaning there is water and wastewater supply connection already available. Scope Construction, refurbishment and fit out works to build a purpose built student kitchenette inside the Library (Building 3) at the CQU Bundaberg campus Contractor Requirements Provide all labour, materials, plant, equipment, supervision, permits, certifications and associated services necessary to achieve the tendered scope of works Undertake the works in accordance with all applicable legislation and Australian Standards Meet the requirements of the CQU Design Standards Manual (DSM) v.29 provided in Appendix C Comply with the National Construction Code (NCC) Contract Terms and Conditions To align with CQU's capital expenditure requirements, all works must be completed prior to the annual Christmas shutdown commencing on 23 December 2026 No construction activities will be permitted during the examination period from 5 October to 23 October 2026 inclusive Contractors will be required to plan and programme the works accordingly to minimise disruption to campus operations and ensure compliance with these access restrictions
