Overview Burdekin Shire Council invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the internal refurbishment of the Burdekin Shire Council Administration Building at 145 Young Street, Ayr. Scope The scope includes: Complete refurbishment of all nominated stages (Stage 1 to Stage 8) within the project documentation Associated building works Associated electrical works Associated mechanical works Tenderers may submit a tender for one or more individual Separable Portions. Contractor Requirements Suitably qualified and experienced in undertaking refurbishment construction works of this nature Ability to deliver the project safely while minimising disruption to staff, customers and normal business operations, as the building will remain occupied throughout the construction period Instructions to Tenderers Council intends to maximise competition and reserves the right to award the Contract to: Multiple contractors for individual Separable Portions; or Any combination of Separable Portions that represents the best overall value for money
