C2C- Communications Phones and Radio Package - Calvale to Calliope River Transmission Line Reinforcement Project

Overview Zinfra is preparing to procure communications services and equipment to support delivery of the Calvale to Calliope (C2C) Project in Central Queensland. This package will support transmission line construction activities, including approximately 67km of 275kV overhead double circuit transmission line with high temperature conductor between H024 Calvale, Biloela and Gladstone West. Purpose The objective of this package is to establish reliable, compliant and responsive construction telephone services to support project communications across multiple project locations and changing construction work fronts. Scope The scope includes: Supply, installation and commissioning of two-way radios and associated equipment Supply of satellite phones and associated satellite communication services where required Supply and installation of radio repeaters, antennas, masts and associated communications infrastructure where required to achieve adequate site coverage Radio programming, configuration, and allocation of channels in accordance with project requirements and applicable regulatory requirements Provision of radio accessories, including batteries, chargers, vehicle mounts, headsets, speaker microphones, earpieces, and carrying cases Provision of suitable vehicle-mounted and fixed-base radio systems where required Establishment and maintenance of satellite telephone and radio communications at nominated project locations, including site compounds, substations, and across the transmission line corridor Installation, relocation, modification, or disconnection of services in accordance with the project construction program and changing site requirements Contractor Requirements Supplier Prequalification Requirements Demonstrated experience providing satellite telephone, radio and communications services for infrastructure, energy, mining, resources or major construction projects Ability to service multiple regional and remote project locations across Central Queensland, including Biloela, Gladstone and adjacent work fronts Demonstrated capability to provide reliable communications services across remote and mobile construction environments, including areas with limited telecommunications coverage Sufficient equipment, resources and technical support capacity to support mobilisation, peak construction requirements, relocation and demobilisation Capability to provide installation, commissioning, programming, maintenance, fault response, repair and replacement of communications equipment and services Ability to provide construction satellite phone services, including associated equipment, connections, cabling and infrastructure as required Compliance with applicable WHS, telecommunications, electrical, radio licensing, environmental and industrial relations requirements Certified management systems, or demonstrated equivalent systems, aligned with ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 Demonstrated commitment to local, Indigenous and Traditional Owner participation through employment, subcontracting or supply chain engagement Local and Indigenous Participation Zinfra is committed to maximising opportunities for local Central Queensland suppliers, Indigenous-owned businesses, Traditional Owner enterprises and regional employment outcomes.
