Overview Gympie Regional Council is inviting tenders to establish a Schedule of Rates Contract for the engagement of a suitably qualified civil construction contractor to deliver approved flood damage reconstruction works to the Gympie Regional Council local road network. Scope The scope includes: Reconstruction of public assets damaged by declared disaster events in 2025 and 2026 Reconstruction works on both the sealed and unsealed road network, including but not limited to pavements, drainage and roadside furniture Delivery of works to supplement DRFA funded reconstruction works being carried out across the region by Gympie Regional Council's internal work crews Delivery of works under two Packages of Work, based on approved scopes of works, located generally within an "eastern area" and a "western area" across the Gympie Regional Council area Contractor Requirements Suitably qualified civil construction contractor TMR prequalification of R2/F50 Contract Terms and Conditions Contract to be established as a Schedule of Rates Contract in accordance with AS4000:1997 Contract will contain two Packages of Work covering the eastern area and western area Final date for practical completion for both Packages of Work is 17 December 2027 Final submission of all post-construction evidence to support delivery of the works is required within 3 months of practical completion If additional works are ordered, the time for practical completion may be extended under standard extension of time (EOT) contract processes, limited to a latest date for practical completion of 30 March 2028
