Overview Sunshine Coast Council is seeking to engage an experienced and appropriately qualified Principal Contractor to design and construct a new Sports House within the Sunshine Coast Stadium, located at 31 Sportsmans Parade, Bokarina. Council is looking to engage one Principal Contractor to undertake the entire scope of works. Scope The scope of work includes electrical enabling works, demolition of the existing building, and the design and construction of a new Sports House on largely the same footprint. Design Works Preliminary design Detailed design Council review meetings Obtaining all approvals and permits Construction Works Enabling works comprising electrical infrastructure amendments Demolition of the existing Sports House Construction of a new Sports House Civil works as required to adjust levels Full remediation of the demolition site Landscape works and full remediation of the construction site Contractor Requirements Experience and appropriate qualifications as a Principal Contractor for design and construction works Provision of all materials, plant and labour, and performance of all necessary operations of whatever kind, to ensure the successful completion of the works associated with the Contract Contract Terms and Conditions Works are anticipated to commence in December 2026 Anticipated contract duration of approximately 15 months Tender Briefing An information session will be held on site, with further details set out in Schedule 2.
