About this tender
Overview Sunshine Coast Council is seeking an experienced contractor to deliver the design and construction of a synthetic soccer field and associated works at the Honey Farm Road Sports Precinct. Scope The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: Detailed design of a FIFA certified synthetic soccer field Construction of a synthetic soccer field Associated drainage, irrigation and surrounding civil works Spectator fencing and behind goal ball stop Obtaining all relevant approvals and providing full RPEQ certification of works Delivery of a warranty and maintenance period Provision of all materials, plant and labour required to perform the necessary operations to complete the works Construction Phasing Due to the required interface with adjacent site construction activity, a two phase construction delivery is required. Phase One: civil works associated with the contract to prepare for the synthetic surface, anticipated to commence upon final design approval Phase Two: installation of the synthetic surface, to commence upon completion of works on surrounding fields outside this contract, anticipated to be completed by end of March 2027 Contract Terms and Conditions The contract will be a fixed lump sum contract Council is seeking to engage one contractor to deliver the entire scope of work Tender Briefing and Site Inspection An information session will be held on site, providing an overview of the project and allowing for a site inspection.
