About this tender
Overview The Department of the Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation (QLD) is seeking a suitably qualified supplier to plan, design, construct, deliver and install persons-with-disability (PWD) compliant prefabricated portable modular buildings and associated infrastructure for the Dhuny Yumba (Powrunna) Accommodation and Office Construction project. Purpose The key purpose of the project is to provide long-term functionality, durability and accessibility for the Powrunna (now Dhuny Yumba (Home of the Wombat) National Park (scientific)) Operations Base for management and research purposes. Scope The scope includes: Planning, design, construction, delivery and installation of four PWD compliant prefabricated portable modular buildings and associated infrastructure All-weather unsealed trafficable site access Accommodation hub comprising three prefabricated portable modular buildings with deck, fly-over roof and rainwater tanks Office and laboratory comprising one prefabricated portable modular building with a rainwater tank Connection to services and utilities Irrigated site landscaping Wildlife protection perimeter fencing Contractor Requirements This is a Prequalification (PQC) System project Tenderers must be on the relevant PQC list by the Tender Closing Date and Time Tender Briefing and Site Inspection Date: Thursday 1 October 2026 Time: 10:00am (Queensland time) Attendees must register for the site visit via email capitaldelivery@detsi.qld.gov.au by no later than 2:00pm (Queensland time) Monday 28 September 2026. Registration details required are company name, name of attendee(s), contact number and email address of attendee(s). Each company is restricted to two (2) representatives. Instructions to Tenderers The last date for supplier clarifications is 2:00pm (Queensland time) 9 October 2026.
