About this tender

Overview Ipswich City Council intends to undertake a two-stage procurement process for the Construction and Establishment of Bio-retention Basin at Heit Family Park, Willowbank. As the first stage, Council is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified and experienced contractors. A Request for Tender (RFT) is anticipated to be released in January-February 2027. About Council's Off-site Stormwater Quality Improvement Program (OSQIP) seeks to improve the quality of stormwater discharging to waterways while achieving multiple benefits for the Ipswich community. Purpose Council is seeking EOI responses to assess market capability, capacity and relevant experience. During Stage 2 of the procurement process, Council currently intends to release the RFT to shortlisted EOI respondents. However, Council reserves the right to release the RFT to the broader market if the EOI outcomes do not demonstrate sufficient competition, capability, capacity, or value for money. Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.

Confirm you are eligible and it is worth bidding

Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.

Answer every criterion with evidence

Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.

Lodge early through the official portal
