Overview The Department of the Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation, Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) invites suitably qualified suppliers to submit an offer for the P264001 - Eurong Office Construction Works project. About K'gari is a UNESCO World Heritage Area located off the coast of Queensland. Recognised as the largest sand island in the world, K'gari has a rich tapestry of natural and cultural values, making it a vital site for conservation and tourism. The QPWS Eurong operational base was constructed in 1989 and is no longer fit for purpose. Purpose A refurbishment of the Eurong operational base is required to address current demand and operational requirements. Scope This procurement seeks a suitably qualified and experienced Principal Contractor to deliver construction works for the Eurong office refurbishment. The scope includes: Addressing building asset condition requirements Optimising workstation areas and quiet rooms Enhancing the incident room, kitchen and amenities Eligibility This is a Prequalification (PQC) System project. Tenderers must be on the relevant PQC list by the Tender Closing Date and Time.
