A future tender will seek to engage a Principal Contractor to deliver the West Moreton Bridge Renewal Stage 2 Project under a Design & Construct (D&C) delivery model. Scope The scope includes: Replacement of four existing timber rail bridges at two locations on the Rosewood to Toowoomba section of the West Moreton System, at chainages 56.600 km and 59.230 km Design and construction of new concrete ballast deck bridges Demolition of the existing structures Associated track, formation, drainage and access works Testing, certification and handover Construction planning and staging to accommodate rail possession and access constraints, with works delivered within a live operational rail environment
