Gym Equipment Lease

Overview The State of Queensland, acting through the Department of Sport, Racing and Olympic and Paralympic Games (DSROPG), is inviting offers from suitably qualified suppliers for the provision of a Gym Equipment Lease. About The Department manages sporting facilities located in Queensland, Australia (Venues). The Venues have a large membership base across several locations and host casual members of the community, including students with disabilities, as well as athletes and visitors every year. The Venues include some of the following facilities: a 20m indoor heated pool, a 50m outdoor pool, recovery ice and heated baths, a 600sqm open-air gym, a (WA) accredited athletics track with turf infield, an FIH standard hockey pitch, and two (2) international standard beach volleyball courts. There are also lodges accommodating guests in twin and quad-share configurations, fully equipped multi-purpose conference facilities, Allied Health Services, and bistros catering for guests. The Venues house open-air and closed gyms providing a large range of bikes, rowing machines, fixed weight machines and free weights to members and visitors. Local, state, national and international athletes, teams and sporting bodies access the facilities, including the gym equipment, as part of their training regime. Some of the Venues, due to the nature of the open-air gymnasium, may seek equipment suited to this environment to minimise the effects of premature and accelerated ageing. Scope The scope of the potential contract will cover the following requirements (see Part B: Head Lease Agreement Details, Schedule 1 Requirements for full details): Provision of new equipment under the Agreement, including cardio and strength equipment as listed in 26DSROPG025 Attachment A Delivery, installation and training on the new leased equipment Delivery of planned and non-scheduled maintenance, repairs and replacement of parts as required Removal of the leased equipment at the completion of the lease period The following is out of scope for this contract: removal and disposal of current equipment. Tender Briefing The Customer will hold a briefing session at each venue as outlined below. It is mandatory for suppliers to attend a briefing session in order to submit an offer. Venue: Gold Coast Performance Centre Date and Time: Wednesday 26 August 2026 at 10:00 am Venue: Gold Coast Recreation Precinct Date and Time: Wednesday 26 August 2026 at 1:00 pm This will be a joint session in which all potential suppliers will attend. Questions can be asked and the responses provided will be documented and communicated by way of an Addendum to the ITO after the briefing session, to all suppliers that attended. A maximum of two (2) representatives from each organisation may attend the briefing. Suppliers must register to attend by emailing procurement@sport.qld.gov.au by 5:00pm on Monday 24 August 2026, listing the names of those supplier representatives attending.
