Horticulture Innovation Australia (Hort Innovation) is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $17 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $170 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community. Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner to plan and deliver two flagship events as part of the Japan–Australia Exchange Program FY27 and FY28 (HA26003). The objectives of the services being sought are to: • Foster and strengthen connections between Australian and Japanese industry and government to support trade engagement • Enhance information exchange through established networks and promote active engagement between Australia and Japan • Showcase Australian horticultural excellence across a wide range of commodities and regional production areas, promoting collaboration and trade opportunities • Facilitate stronger trade and collaboration opportunities between Australia and Japan through high-quality exchange initiatives The successful respondent will be responsible for: • Event concept development, design and delivery for two exchange events in Japan. • Program development and stakeholder engagement • Venue and supplier management • End-to-end event management, including invitations, guest management and bilingual event support • Communications, public relations and media engagement • Reporting, monitoring and budget management Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process, and the information required from interested parties.
