About this tender
Overview Queensland Hydro is seeking a contractor to provide labour, plant, equipment and supervision to undertake routine and ad hoc land maintenance activities across its project landholdings, safely and compliantly. About Land owned and managed by Queensland Hydro requires ongoing maintenance to ensure safe access and operability, maintain visibility and fire lines, reduce hazardous fuel loads, and support compliance with environmental and biosecurity obligations. Scope The scope includes: Routine slashing, mowing and brush-cutting of access tracks and infrastructure (existing built assets and operational surrounds) areas Weed control including herbicide application Minor vegetation management (tree and brush trimming/pruning) on access roads and tracks Removal of debris and obstructions Fireline maintenance including slashing, vegetation removal and hazardous tree removal Reactive works following weather, growth or other impacting events Minor maintenance of fencing and gates where minor defects are observed during works Ad hoc maintenance activities able to be completed with available equipment (for example, minor gate/padlock maintenance, minor fencing repairs, signage installation and maintenance) Biosecurity controls and vehicle hygiene implementation Reporting and compliance documentation
