About this tender
Overview Torres Strait Island Regional Council is seeking a contractor to carry out timber flooring rectification works to various Department of Education (DoE) residences at Res 001 & 002, located on Saibai Island, QLD 4875. Scope The scope includes: Timber flooring rectification works to various DoE residences at Res 001 & 002, Saibai Island Staging of works to ensure tenants can access their residence at all times throughout the duration of the works, as all residences will be tenanted during the works Removal and reinstatement of items required to complete the works Attendance on site to confirm site specific layout, dimensions and conditions, as drawings and images provided may be dated Removal and disposal of all trade related waste, including associated freight and fees Provision of a program of works indicating start and finish dates, extent and schedule of works, not less than 2 weeks prior to commencement of onsite works The tenant or client is responsible for the removal and reinstatement of all items of a personal nature. Works are to be quoted for completion during normal hours and must meet the requirements of the specification. Contractor Requirements Provide the QBuild Supervisor with a Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) for any high-risk work prior to commencing work onsite Information Requested Contractors are required to complete the attached Tender-Offer Schedule and include it as part of their tender submission. Site Inspection A site inspection is mandatory. Attendance must be prearranged with the site contact prior to attending site.
