Overview Goondiwindi Regional Council is seeking a supplier to load, cart and supply MRTS05 conforming Type 2.1 road base material to a stockpile at Ch218.44 Leichhardt Highway. Scope The scope includes: Loading, carting and supply of Type 2.1 road base material conforming to the Department of Transport and Main Roads Technical Specification MRTS05 Unbound Pavements Delivery of material to the nominated stockpile at Ch218.44 Leichhardt Highway Delivery of fully and legally loaded trucks at all times, with no part loads accepted Supply of road base measured in equivalent dry tonnes, with material able to be tested at the quarry, at Council's expense, prior to delivery to confirm quantity received Measurement of supply volume by certified weighbridge dockets or load rite scales for each load delivered Storage of material in predefined stockpiles, with a maximum of 5,000 tonnes of one material stored in one lot on the stockpile pad Contract Terms and Conditions This tender is offered as a Schedule of Rates contract and shall not be subject to rise and fall or cost adjustment except as specifically provided Staged delivery is anticipated to run from late January 2027 through to the end of May 2027, with initial deliveries expected early to mid-January The project manager will give the supplier a minimum of 2 weeks' notice for each delivery Contractor Requirements The tenderer must be registered as a supplier and operate in accordance with the Department of Transport and Main Roads Quarry Registration System requirements (Schedule 1)
