Overview Torres Strait Island Regional Council is seeking a contractor to complete bathroom and laundry upgrade works at Lot 116 Nona Street and Lot 149 Mairu Street, Badu. Scope The scope includes: Bathroom and laundry upgrade works at Lot 116 Nona Street, Badu Bathroom and laundry upgrade works at Lot 149 Mairu Street, Badu Information Requested Each line item in the preliminaries section of the job summary is to only be filled if works are required for that item. The following guidance applies when completing the job summary: Approvals & Compliance: To be left blank if no council, consultancy, gas compliance, or electrical compliance fees are incurred. Where incurred, include any expenses for obtaining approvals from relevant authorities and/or adhering to industry regulations, such as council fees, gas compliance, electrical compliance, and consultancy fees Siteworks/Services: Shipping containers for tenant items, portaloo, portable ensuites, external lighting, silt fencing, sandbags, and similar items WH&S: Site fencing, scaffolding, signage, barricades, tiger tails for power lines, and street closures Freight: Transport of materials, tools, and site specific equipment Travel: Transport of personnel to jobsite and car/ute rental, excluding contractors who currently reside in local communities where works are being completed Accommodation: Overnight stays for contractors as required for the duration of works, excluding contractors who currently reside in local communities where works are being completed Waste Disposal: Dumping fees, skip fees, and transport from building site to waste facility Other: Any other works not identified in the above categories, to be specified, for example tenant accommodation x 4 days
