Scope The scope includes: Home modification work at 80 New Village St, Mabuiag Island QLD, 4875 Supply of all plant, labour, materials, equipment and any other requirements necessary to undertake the works detailed in the tender documentation Delivery of works in accordance with all trade specific standards, Australian standards, the Standard Method of Measurement, and statutory health, safety and environmental standards, regulations and requirements, including QBuild policies and procedures Contractor Requirements General Conditions All work will be assessed against the stated conditions by a QBuild supervisor Any nominated extent of work is deemed to include compliance with these conditions, and all costs associated with compliance are to be included in the tender submission Preliminary Risk Assessment A preliminary risk assessment of this project has identified the following potential high-risk activities: Work carried out on or near energised electrical installations or services, such as overhead or underground power lines, or walls where live electrical wiring may be present Work carried out in an area that may have a contaminated or flammable atmosphere, such as silica dust or removing fuel tanks These preliminary risk assessments may not contain all potential site-specific risks or hazards. They do not replace the need for the Person Conducting a Business or Undertaking (PCBU) or contractor to undertake a full site evaluation and document hazard and risk identification and control measures, as required under current legislation. Provide the QBuild Supervisor with a Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) for any high-risk work prior to starting work onsite Tender Briefing and Site Inspection A site inspection is mandatory and must be arranged prior to attending site No admittance to site will be allowed if a site inspection is not prearranged Site Contact: Holly Banasa on 0484 536 427 Contractors are required to arrange a time with the site contact prior to attending site to ascertain the full scope of works Contract Terms and Conditions Works shall be quoted for completion during normal hours and shall meet the requirements of the specification On award and prior to commencement of works, the QBuild supervisor will arrange a prestart meeting with the successful tenderer to discuss site and project specifics Attendance at the prestart meeting is mandatory and must be attended by the contractor's representative
