About this tender

Overview Mount Isa City Council is seeking a licensed, professional and experienced contractor to construct fire services upgrades in accordance with the principal-supplied design documentation, to improve system performance and achieve compliance with current firefighting requirements. About Opened in 2008, Mount Isa City Council operates the Buchanan Park Events Complex, a landmark events venue and home to the Mount Isa Rodeo. Due to deficient pressure and flow in the existing fire services, MICC requires the contractor to construct fire services upgrades to improve system performance and achieve compliance with current firefighting requirements. Scope The scope includes upgrades to the Buchanan Park Events Complex fire services within the following precincts, as shown on the principal-issued drawings: Rodeo Grounds precinct Entertainment Precinct Associated fire service main connections and appurtenances within the broader Buchanan Park complex Contract Terms and Conditions The contract form is Construct Only, based on principal-supplied design. MICC will provide the design documentation, including drawings and associated notes and specifications. The contractor must construct the works strictly in accordance with the principal-issued design documentation, including the following drawings issued for tender (T1): FS01 - Notes and Details FS02 - Overall Site Plan FS03 - Rodeo Grounds Part Site Plan FS04 - Entertainment Precinct Part Site Plan FS05 - Location Specific Details Any departures, substitutions or design changes must not be undertaken without prior written approval from MICC and, where applicable, replacement certification or design documentation. Information Requested Respondents must complete the Response Schedule and Pricing Schedule as listed. Any other form of response will be classed as non-conforming.
