Overview Services Australia is seeking a minimum of one EL2 Principal Software Engineer (Developer) to provide technical leadership on software development activities for the agency. Purpose This engagement is part of the agency's planning for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) migration off SAP ECC6. The Role Software Engineers have experience overseeing software development projects, writing optimised code, and providing technical leadership to a team of software engineers. They are responsible for the quality and functionality of the software produced by their team. Development professionals design, create, test and document software systems and applications in accordance with agreed development and security standards and processes. EL2 Software Engineers oversee large and complex software development projects, providing technical leadership to their team or teams. They drive software planning, development and construction activities and are accountable for the resolution of complex issues within the development and production environments. EL2 Software Engineers oversee the quality and functionality of software, ensuring adherence to relevant standards, guidelines, and methods for system development.
